I always wanted this recipe, found it, and tried it with some variation!!
INGREDIENTS:
Cauliflower, grated- 1 no, medium size
Carrots, grated- 1 medium size
French beans, finely chopped- 10 no
Spring onion, finely chopped- 3 no, medium size
Capsicum, finely chopped- 1 medium size
Cornstarch- ¼ cup
White flour (maida)- ¼ cup
Salt, as required
Oil
For sauce
Ginger, finely chopped- 1 inch
Garlic, finely chopped- 6 flakes
Green chili, chopped- 3 no
Cornstarch- 3 tbsp
Soya sauce- 2 tbsp
Sugar- 1 tsp
Salt, as required
Vegetable stock(use normal water instead)- 2½ cups
Vinegar- 1 tbsp
METHOD:
Mix all the vegetables with salt. Mix well. Add spring onion, capsicum, maida & cornstarch. Mix. Shape round in the size of lemon.
Fry the balls till golden brown.
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté ginger, garlic, green chili. Add rest of the ingredients, except cornstarch. Boil.
Mix cornstarch with little water & add to the sauce. Stir till the sauce thickens. Mix fried balls & vinegar.
Garnish with spring onion & serve hot!!
