Serve as a side dish with rice!!
INGREDIENTS:
Moong dal (without skin), boiled with salt & turmeric powder- 1 ¼ cup
Red chili paste- 1 tsp
Lemon juice- 2 tsp
Ginger, finely chopped- 2 inch
Cumin (jeera) seeds- ½ tsp
Asafetida (hing), a pinch
Green chili, chopped- 1 no
Coriander leaves, chopped- 1 tbsp
Oil
METHOD:
Do not over boil dal. It has to be in a whole form. Retain little water & drain out excess.
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté jeera & hing. Add ginger & green chili.
Add red chilli paste & dal, lemon juice. Mix. Stir dal carefully. If required, add salt.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Its dry in form. Try it!!
I added some curry leaves too.. It's awesome!
