People, who have sweet tooth, go for this!!
INGREDIENTS
Rice, boiled & drained- 250 gm
Onions, finely chopped- 2 no
Apples, peeled & grated- 4 no
Lemon juice- 1 no
Honey- 3 tbsp
Nutmeg (jaifal) powder, a pinch
Saffron, mixed in little warm milk, a few strands
Salt, as required
METHOD:
Heat oil in a pan & fry onions till crisp. Keep aside.
Add cooked rice & sauté for two minutes. Add lemon juice & salt to the grated apples & mix lightly.
Add these apples to the cooked rice & mix. Add honey, nutmeg powder & saffron.
Sauté on a low heat for 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with walnuts!!
